Light & Eye Safety

Do not stare directly into operating grow lights, HID bulbs, LEDs, or high-intensity lamps. Bright light may cause eye discomfort or strain. Use appropriate eye protection when working near intense lighting and turn lights off when servicing when possible.

Bulb & Lamp Handling

Use only compatible bulbs or lamps approved for the fixture, ballast, and wattage. Allow bulbs and fixtures to cool before handling. Do not touch hot bulbs, damaged bulbs, or exposed sockets. Replace cracked, damaged, flickering, or expired lamps as directed by the manufacturer.
