Advanced Nutrients Bud Factor X® is a bloom-phase biostimulant and bud potency & stalk strengthener made to support higher-value flowers with better flavor and aroma in mid bloom phase.
Bud Factor X® is positioned to fuel optimal conditions for growing crystal-packed flower buds and building out floral clusters, so the visible size gains show up where they matter most. Alongside flower quality, it’s also a stalk strengthener, supporting stronger structure during the bloom window when plants are carrying more weight. The focus stays on flower finish and plant performance, with “valuable compounds” highlighted as part of the overall bloom-quality result.
This is a low-salt, non-nutritive style additive with an NPK of 0-0-0, aimed at plant response rather than base nutrition. Because it’s a biostimulant, it fits growers who want a dedicated bloom-phase tool for flavor and aroma development without changing their primary fertilizer profile. As an added differentiator, Advanced Nutrients states it does not use paclobutrazol, daminozide, or other banned plant growth regulators in its products.
Bud Factor X® is listed for blooming stage and indoor / outdoor gardens, and it’s marked for hydroponics, regular watering, and watering systems. It’s specially designed for diverse hydroponic growing media and continuous liquid-feed growing systems such as aeroponics, drip irrigation and emitters, nft, flood and drain, and deep water culture. Coco coir safe positioning is included, and suitability for foliar application is also noted.
This is a good fit for growers who want a mid bloom phase biostimulant focused on flower quality, floral cluster development, and stalk strength across hydroponics or irrigation-style setups.
Step-by-step mixing and feeding instructions for Advanced Nutrients Bud Factor X - 10 Litre.
Fill your reservoir or watering container with clean, room-temperature water first. Shake the bottle of Advanced Nutrients Bud Factor X - 10 Litre well before every use. Using the feeding schedule below, measure the recommended dose and add it directly to the water while stirring. Crustaceans support plant growth by slowly improving the root zone with shell-derived minerals and organic compounds that encourage steadier nutrient cycling and stronger root function over time. They’re important because they build stability instead of quick spikes, and they’re unique because the shell material breaks down slowly and influences the biology around roots in a way many other organic ingredients don’t.
Water soluble magnesium is important because it quickly restores the plant’s ability to make chlorophyll and produce energy, which helps stop interveinal yellowing on older leaves and improves overall nutrient use; it’s unique because it becomes available immediately in water, making it faster and more predictable than slower magnesium sources.
Glucosamine is not a classic fertilizer because it doesn’t mainly feed the plant directly like mineral nutrients do; it mainly shifts the root-zone biology that supports nutrient cycling and root function. What makes it unique is that it’s an amino sugar linked to fungal-related chemistry, so it can encourage beneficial microbial balance and help “prime” plant resilience, which often shows up as steadier growth and fewer stress spirals when conditions get challenging.
Magnesium nitrate supplies fast-available magnesium for chlorophyll and photosynthesis while also adding nitrate nitrogen that can speed up greening and growth. It’s unique because it can correct magnesium-related yellowing quickly but also changes growth momentum, so it’s most valuable when magnesium is truly limiting and the plant can safely use extra nitrate.
Willow bark extract (salicin) is important because it supports the plant’s natural stress and recovery signaling, helping cuttings root and plants bounce back after transplanting, pruning, or environmental swings. It’s unique from nutrient inputs because it doesn’t “feed” the plant directly—its value comes from helping the plant respond and recover more efficiently when conditions are already close to correct.
