Advanced Nutrients Bud Candy® is a bud sweetener and carbohydrate biostimulant for mid bloom phase gardens, built to support floral growth and amplify desirable aromas.
Bud Candy® centers on a premium blend of carbohydrates alongside the essential secondary nutrient magnesium, creating optimal conditions for bud taste and terpene enhancement during the flowering window. The carbohydrate profile is positioned as flower-boosting energy when plants need it most, helping push bloom development while keeping the focus on quality.
One key benefit is how carbohydrates nourish beneficial microbes in the root zone. With a more active microbial environment, Bud Candy® is positioned to create ideal conditions to expand the roots for ample yields, while also supporting nutrient absorption and overall plant performance through bloom. This root-zone focus fits growers who want a carbohydrate biostimulant that supports both flower development and the underground biology that drives it.
Magnesium is highlighted for supporting optimal conditions for chlorophyll production, which can increase photosynthetic ability. In practical terms, that means Bud Candy® supports plant productivity while aromas and floral mass are developing, with magnesium contributing to stable, consistent growth momentum. For shoppers who want a simple facts layer, Bud Candy® is listed as 0-0-0.
Bud Candy® includes five different sources of carbohydrates and a combination of simple and complex carbohydrates, paired with magnesium to support aroma-focused flowering results. Those inputs are framed around improving the growing environment rather than supplying traditional NPK nutrition, making it a clean fit when you want carbohydrate support without changing the core nutrient profile.
For system flexibility, Bud Candy® is listed for indoor / outdoor gardens, vegetative stage and blooming stage use, and is specially designed for diverse hydroponic growing media and continuous liquid-feed growing systems such as aeroponics, drip irrigation and emitters, nft, flood and drain, and deep water culture, with regular watering, watering systems, and coco coir safe positioning.
This is a good fit for growers who want a mid bloom phase carbohydrate biostimulant that supports floral growth, root-zone activity, and aroma development across hydroponics or watering-system setups.
Step-by-step mixing and feeding instructions for Advanced Nutrients Bud Candy - 1 Litre.
Fill your reservoir or watering container with clean, room-temperature water first. Shake the bottle of Advanced Nutrients Bud Candy - 1 Litre well before every use. Using the feeding schedule below, measure the recommended dose and add it directly to the water while stirring. Allow the solution to mix fully before adding any other fertilizers, additives, or supplements.
Always add nutrients to water — not the other way around. Mix thoroughly between products to ensure an even, stable nutrient solution.
Vegetative stage — Bud Candy
Flowering stage — Bud Candy

| Water Soluble Magnesium (Mg) | 0.5% |
|---|---|
| D-Galactose | 0.5% |
| D-Ribose | 7.0% |
| D-Xylose | 1.0% |
| Glucose | 4.0% |
| Maltose | 1.6% |
D-Galactose is important because plants use it as a key building block for strong cell walls and stable membranes, which supports healthier growth, better stress handling, and more resilient tissues; it’s unique from many other sugars because it acts more like a specialized structural “construction unit” than a simple fast fuel.
D-ribose helps plants build ATP and nucleotides needed for making new cells, so it supports faster root and shoot growth and smoother stress recovery—and it’s unique from common sugars because it works mainly as a cellular building block for energy-transfer and genetic-material production rather than as a general fuel source.
D-xylose is important because it helps plants build strong, well-organized cell walls and stable vascular tissues, which improves structure, water movement, and resilience, and it is unique from other “plant sugar” topics because it is closely tied to hemicellulose building materials rather than just quick energy or simple microbial feeding.
Glucose is important because it’s the plant’s main internal fuel and building block, powering growth, root development, and recovery from stress, and it’s unique because plants primarily make it through photosynthesis rather than absorbing it like most nutrients.
Maltose matters because it connects stored starch to usable energy, helping plants power growth and recovery when conditions change. It’s unique from many other sugars because it’s closely tied to starch breakdown and energy release timing, so it influences plant vigor and root-zone biology in a different way than sugars mainly used for transport or sweetness.
Water soluble magnesium is important because it quickly restores the plant’s ability to make chlorophyll and produce energy, which helps stop interveinal yellowing on older leaves and improves overall nutrient use; it’s unique because it becomes available immediately in water, making it faster and more predictable than slower magnesium sources.
Magnesium nitrate supplies fast-available magnesium for chlorophyll and photosynthesis while also adding nitrate nitrogen that can speed up greening and growth. It’s unique because it can correct magnesium-related yellowing quickly but also changes growth momentum, so it’s most valuable when magnesium is truly limiting and the plant can safely use extra nitrate.
They don’t feed the plant directly, but they change how water, mixes, and applications behave so nutrients and beneficial effects reach roots and leaves more evenly and reliably, which is why they can improve results in ways nutrients alone can’t.

Great
Can't go wrong with adding sugars to keep energy up in the root zone. I like to use bud candy over carboload but that's just personal preference :)
