Advanced Nutrients Big Bud® is a liquid fertilizer bloom booster for the mid bloom phase, designed to support robust flowers with an optimal PK ratio.
Built around precise ratios of phosphorus and potassium, Big Bud® focuses seeable flowering performance without clutter. Advanced Nutrients positions it as a legacy bloom booster that supports bloom phase growth and photosynthesis, helping flowering plants stay on track through the most demanding part of the cycle. It’s also presented as a reliable liquid fertilizer made with high-quality raw materials, with quality control standards aimed at a longer shelf life.
Big Bud® is described as delivering highly absorbable forms of potassium and phosphorus to strengthen and bulk floral structures. The goal is simple: support heavier, denser flower development and encourage consistent flowering results during the bloom cycle. For shoppers who want a straightforward flowering booster, this bloom booster fertilizer keeps the emphasis on PK-driven flowering support rather than extra complexity.
The facts layer is compact: Big Bud® is rated 0-1-3, giving a phosphorus-and-potassium-forward profile for the flowering window. The formula is derived from monopotassium phosphate and potassium sulfate, along with whey protein hydrolysate, combining mineral inputs with a protein hydrolysate component in one bloom-focused product.
On the setup side, Big Bud® is listed for blooming stage indoor / outdoor gardens and is marked for hydroponics, regular watering, and watering systems. It’s also noted as coco coir safe. Advanced Nutrients further describes it as designed for diverse hydroponic growing media and continuous liquid-feed growing systems such as aeroponics, drip irrigation and emitters, nft, flood and drain, and deep water culture.
This is a good fit for growers who want a liquid fertilizer bloom booster that supports flowering structure, bloom phase performance, and PK-forward nutrition in mid bloom phase across hydroponics or other watering-system setups.
Step-by-step mixing and feeding instructions for Advanced Nutrients Big Bud - 250 ML.
Fill your reservoir or watering container with clean, room-temperature water first. Shake the bottle of Advanced Nutrients Big Bud - 250 ML well before every use. Using the feeding schedule below, measure the recommended dose and add it directly to the water while stirring. Allow the solution to mix fully before adding any other fertilizers, additives, or supplements.
Always add nutrients to water — not the other way around. Mix thoroughly between products to ensure an even, stable nutrient solution.

Amino acids help plants grow by supporting protein formation, nutrient absorption, root development, stress recovery, and overall metabolic function, making them essential for strong and resilient plant growth.
Ascorbic acid helps plants manage oxidative stress, supports healthy photosynthesis, improves nutrient processing, and strengthens new tissue development, making plants more resilient and stable during growth.
Available Phosphate (P₂O₅) supports root development, energy transfer, and early structural growth by providing a form of phosphorus that plants can absorb and use quickly.
Citric acid helps improve nutrient availability by gently lowering pH and binding certain minerals so they stay more usable for roots, which can reduce common lockout symptoms like pale new growth. It’s unique because it influences nutrient behavior beyond pH alone, making it especially helpful when nutrients are present but not being absorbed efficiently.
Soluble potash (K2O) is important because it helps plants control water use, move sugars to new growth and fruit, and build stronger, higher-quality structure under stress. It’s unique from many other nutrients because it acts more like a regulator and transport helper than a direct “building material,” so the biggest benefits show up as steadier growth, stronger stems, and better finishing instead of just bigger leaves.
Monopotassium phosphate provides fast phosphorus and potassium that support energy use, nutrient flow, and bloom development without adding nitrogen, so it helps flowering progress cleanly without pushing extra leafy growth. It’s unique because it delivers a focused PK boost in a highly soluble form, which can correct stage-related demand quickly, but it must be used carefully to avoid potassium-heavy imbalances that can block calcium and magnesium uptake.
Potassium sulfate is often preferred because it supplies potassium without added chloride and also provides sulfur, which supports protein-building and efficient nutrient use, making it a cleaner, balanced option when plants are sensitive to chloride or when you want potassium without pushing extra nitrogen or phosphorus.
Whey protein hydrolysate supplies small peptides and amino acids that can support root-zone biology and make nutrient uptake more efficient, helping plants grow steadily and recover faster from stress. It’s unique because it works as both gentle organic nitrogen and a fast-available peptide signal, so it can improve performance without relying on heavy salt strength when used correctly.
