Remo Nutrients VeloKelp is a seaweed extract additive for all stages of growth, designed to support vigorous root development, new shoot growth, and nutrient uptake. It’s a plant additive that fits into a simple, full-cycle approach from propagation through flowering.
VeloKelp’s formula is packed with vitamins and multiple seaweed extracts, with a profile that stays useful across early development and later stage performance. In propagation, it promotes vigorous root development and assists with reducing transplant shock, helping new starts settle in with less stress. Through the vegetative cycle, it helps with the generation of new shoots and appendages, supporting fresh, active growth when plants are building structure.
As plants move into bloom, VeloKelp assists with nutrient uptake, keeping its role clear as a stage-to-stage support product rather than a single-phase booster. It is filtered during our manufacturing process, which is why it is positioned as suitable for hydroponic systems and any other grow medium. It is also suitable for foliar application, giving added flexibility in how it fits into different garden styles.
For shoppers who want a quick facts layer, VeloKelp is 1-1-1. The core inputs are centered on humic and fulvic acid plus vitamin B1, alongside two types of cold pressed extracted sea kelp sourced from the Atlantic and the Pacific. That combination reinforces the “seaweed extracts plus plant support” identity, while keeping the product’s purpose focused on growth-phase support rather than heavy base nutrition.
VeloKelp does not contain animal products. This is a good fit for growers who want a seaweed extract additive that is recommended for all stages of growth, including propagation, with a clear focus on root development, vegetative shoot generation, and flowering-stage nutrient uptake across hydroponic systems or any other grow medium.
Step-by-step mixing and feeding instructions for Remo Nutrients VeloKelp - 205 Litre.
Fill your reservoir or watering container with clean, room-temperature water first. Shake the bottle of Remo Nutrients VeloKelp - 205 Litre well before every use. Using the feeding schedule below, measure the recommended dose and add it directly to the water while stirring. Allow the solution to mix fully before adding any other fertilizers, additives, or supplements.
Always add nutrients to water — not the other way around. Mix thoroughly between products to ensure an even, stable nutrient solution.

Ammoniacal Nitrogen (N) is a plant-available form of ammonium (NH₄⁺) that provides a steady, gentle source of nitrogen for healthy green growth. Unlike fast-release nitrogen types, ammoniacal nitrogen feeds plants slowly, helps stabilize root-zone pH, and works well in cooler temperatures. It is commonly used during early vegetative growth because it supports strong leaf development without burning young roots. If plants show pale leaves, slow growth, or weak stems, they may need more available ammoniacal nitrogen.
Ammonium nitrate is unique because it provides nitrogen in two plant-usable forms at once, which can give a fast green-up while still supporting steadier uptake depending on the root-zone conditions. That matters because it can correct true nitrogen shortages quickly, but it also needs careful balance since too much can push overly soft growth and trigger pH drift and nutrient imbalances.
Aquatic plant extract helps plants run more efficiently by supporting root activity, stress tolerance, and nutrient movement, which can lead to steadier growth without constantly increasing fertilizer strength. It is unique because it’s typically used more for resilience and internal balance than as a primary nutrient source, making it most valuable during transplanting, rapid growth, and environmental swings.
Ascophyllum nodosum supports stronger root growth, improves stress resistance, enhances nutrient uptake, and helps plants maintain balanced, steady development throughout their entire growth cycle.
Available Phosphate (P₂O₅) supports root development, energy transfer, and early structural growth by providing a form of phosphorus that plants can absorb and use quickly.
Diammonium phosphate provides water-soluble phosphorus for plant energy transfer and root development, plus ammonium nitrogen to support active growth, making it especially effective during early establishment and high-demand growth phases. It’s unique because it delivers phosphorus and ammonium together, which can boost growth quickly but also changes root-zone pH and salt balance, so correct dosing and stable conditions matter.
Humic acid is important because it improves root health and nutrient uptake by keeping minerals available, stabilizing the root zone, and supporting beneficial biology, which makes growth more consistent. It’s unique because it doesn’t act like a direct nutrient boost—its main power is improving the root environment so plants can use what’s already there more efficiently.
Macrocystis integrifolia is important because it supports stronger roots, steadier nutrient movement, and better stress tolerance, helping plants grow more consistently even when conditions aren’t perfect, and it’s unique from many similar inputs because it’s used primarily for broad biostimulant signaling effects rather than acting like a single “nutrient” fix.
Monosilicic acid is important because it’s the plant-ready form of silicon that strengthens tissues and improves stress resilience, helping plants stay sturdier and recover more smoothly under heat, dryness, training, and pressure—making it unique from other silicon sources that may be present but not immediately absorbable.
Nitrate Nitrogen provides a stable, easy-to-absorb form of nitrogen that supports steady growth, strong foliage, and reliable plant development without sudden nutrient swings.
Soluble potash (K2O) is important because it helps plants control water use, move sugars to new growth and fruit, and build stronger, higher-quality structure under stress. It’s unique from many other nutrients because it acts more like a regulator and transport helper than a direct “building material,” so the biggest benefits show up as steadier growth, stronger stems, and better finishing instead of just bigger leaves.
Total Nitrogen is important because it directly drives leafy growth, chlorophyll production, and overall growth speed, which sets the pace for the entire plant. It’s unique because the “total” number can include different nitrogen forms that behave differently in the root zone, meaning the same total amount can produce very different results depending on the nitrogen type and plant stage.
Monopotassium phosphate provides fast phosphorus and potassium that support energy use, nutrient flow, and bloom development without adding nitrogen, so it helps flowering progress cleanly without pushing extra leafy growth. It’s unique because it delivers a focused PK boost in a highly soluble form, which can correct stage-related demand quickly, but it must be used carefully to avoid potassium-heavy imbalances that can block calcium and magnesium uptake.
Potassium nitrate is often better for quick correction when the plant needs both potassium and fast nitrate nitrogen, because it dissolves cleanly and is taken up quickly, unlike potassium sources that don’t supply nitrogen. It’s unique because it can restore leaf color and growth momentum while also improving water regulation, but it can backfire if nitrogen is already high or if salt levels are already stressing the roots.
