Description

Description
Philips Master Green Power 1000W EL Double-Ended - 1000 Watt is a high pressure sodium horticulture lamp built for assimilation lighting and high-intensity plant irradiation. This double-ended HID grow lamp is made to deliver optimized growth light output with strong growth light maintenance over the lamp’s operating life.

As part of the MASTER GreenPower Plus line, it’s designed specifically for horticultural applications where dependable light quality and stable output matter from cycle to cycle. The clear outer bulb helps deliver clean, direct light to the canopy, while the clear tubular outer bulb design supports consistent light delivery in enclosed or open horticultural fixtures.

Inside the lamp, a ceramic discharge tube with Philips Integrated Antenna (PIA) is used for a long and reliable lifetime, keeping performance stable in demanding grow environments. An advanced getter is also built in to support high growth light maintenance and help reduce early failures, making this lamp a practical choice for growers who value consistency and predictable performance.

The “GreenPower” concept is built around optimized micromol output for growth light, and the “Plus” concept focuses on high efficacy translated into high light output. Together, these design goals make the lamp well suited for high-output horticultural lighting where growers want strong plant-response lighting without overcomplicating the setup.

Philips Master Green Power 1000W EL Double-Ended - 1000 Watt is a dimmable HID lamp and is designed for a parallel or horizontal operating position, aligning with common double-ended fixture layouts. This is a good fit for growers and commercial rooms looking for a double-ended high pressure sodium horticulture lamp that emphasizes optimized growth light output, high growth light maintenance, and a proven internal build focused on reliable operation.

Bulb & Lamp Handling

Use only compatible bulbs or lamps approved for the fixture, ballast, and wattage. Allow bulbs and fixtures to cool before handling. Do not touch hot bulbs, damaged bulbs, or exposed sockets. Replace cracked, damaged, flickering, or expired lamps as directed by the manufacturer.

Label & Manufacturer Directions

Always follow the official product label, package directions, and manufacturer safety information. Check the manufacturer website or official product documentation for the most complete and current usage, safety, storage, and disposal details. This notice is general guidance and does not replace the product label.

Mercury Lamp Disposal

Some HID lamps, including certain metal halide, ceramic metal halide, and high pressure sodium lamps, may contain mercury or require special disposal. Do not place broken or mercury-containing lamps in regular waste unless permitted locally. Follow the product label, manufacturer instructions, and local disposal rules.

Lamp Installation Safety

Turn off power and allow the fixture and lamp to cool before installing, removing, or replacing the lamp. Use only lamps that match the fixture, ballast, socket, wattage, and manufacturer specifications. Do not force the lamp into the socket.

Hot Bulb & Breakage Safety

Lamps may become very hot during use. Do not touch hot lamps or place them near flammable materials. Handle carefully to avoid breakage. If a lamp is cracked, broken, discoloured, flickering, or damaged, stop use and replace it according to the manufacturer instructions.
