General Hydroponics FloraSeries FloraBloom, FloraMicro, and FloraGro is a three-part liquid formula system and base nutrient system for hydroponic growing, built to support every stage of plant growth from vegetative growth through the fruiting and flowering stage.
FloraSeries is built as a customizable hydroponic advanced nutrition system, with three separate components that let you tailor specific nutrient profiles to match changing growth stages and environments. FloraMicro is the foundation of the FloraSeries nutrient system, supplying nitrogen, potassium, and calcium along with chelated micronutrients and trace elements for balanced core nutrition. FloraGro focuses on structural and foliar growth and is positioned to support vegetative growth with the development of more branches and leaves. FloraBloom is designed for the reproductive growth stage, supporting flowering, fruiting and seed production and emphasizing bigger flower and bud sets.
A compact facts layer: the three components carry NPK ratings of 5-0-1 (FloraMicro), 2-1-6 (FloraGro), and 0-5-4 (FloraBloom). Across the system, FloraSeries highlights key nutrient roles in plain terms, including nitrogen and potassium for growth momentum, calcium plus chelated micronutrients and trace elements for broad nutritional coverage, and phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, and sulfate to support flower and fruit development when plants shift into reproductive growth.
For buyers who care about repeatability, FloraSeries is positioned around consistent quality and batch-to-batch precision. General Hydroponics describes in-house certified analytical lab tests plus third-party testing to help keep every run within tight expectations, so your nutrition program stays predictable across cycles. The system is also described as precise premixed liquid nutrients, keeping the format simple to handle while still delivering the control that a three-part base nutrient system is known for.
If you want a hydroponic base nutrient system that can be tuned across stages without locking you into a single one-size approach, FloraSeries is a strong fit. It’s well suited for growers who want a 3-part liquid formula system built around chelated micronutrients and trace elements, structural and foliar growth support, and reliable flowering, fruiting and seed production performance as plants move into the fruiting and flowering stage.
Step-by-step mixing and feeding instructions for General Hydroponics Flora Bloom - 2.5 Gallon.
Fill your reservoir or watering container with clean, room-temperature water first. Shake the bottle of General Hydroponics Flora Bloom - 2.5 Gallon well before every use. Using the feeding schedule below, measure the recommended dose and add it directly to the water while stirring. Allow the solution to mix fully before adding any other fertilizers, additives, or supplements.
Always add nutrients to water — not the other way around. Mix thoroughly between products to ensure an even, stable nutrient solution.
Vegetative stage — Bloom
Flowering stage — Bloom

General safety precautions
Read and follow all instructions on the product label and any accompanying documentation before use. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not ingest. Avoid breathing vapours, mist, or dust that may be generated during handling or use.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as protective gloves, long sleeves, long pants and closed-toe footwear. When there is a risk of splashing or airborne particles, use safety glasses or other suitable eye and face protection.
First aid – skin contact
IF ON SKIN OR HAIR: Remove contaminated clothing immediately. Rinse skin with clean water for several minutes, then wash with mild soap and water. If irritation or redness develops and persists, seek medical attention. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
First aid – eye contact
IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with clean water for several minutes, keeping eyelids open. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If irritation persists, obtain medical advice.
First aid – ingestion and inhalation
IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Do not induce vomiting unless instructed by a medical professional. Seek medical attention if you feel unwell.
IF INHALED: Move the person to fresh air and keep them comfortable for breathing. If coughing, breathing difficulty, dizziness or other symptoms occur, seek medical assistance.

| Available Phosphate (P2O5) | 5.0% |
|---|---|
| Soluble Potash (K2O) | 4.0% |
| Total Magnesium (Mg) | 1.5% |
| Sulfur (S) | 1.0% |
Available Phosphate (P₂O₅) supports root development, energy transfer, and early structural growth by providing a form of phosphorus that plants can absorb and use quickly.
Potassium carbonate is important because it can supply potassium for water movement, stress tolerance, and strong growth, while also pushing the root zone toward higher pH and alkalinity. It’s unique because it doesn’t just “feed potassium” like many other sources—it also changes solution chemistry, so it must be used carefully to avoid micronutrient lockout and calcium/magnesium imbalance.
Soluble potash (K2O) is important because it helps plants control water use, move sugars to new growth and fruit, and build stronger, higher-quality structure under stress. It’s unique from many other nutrients because it acts more like a regulator and transport helper than a direct “building material,” so the biggest benefits show up as steadier growth, stronger stems, and better finishing instead of just bigger leaves.
Sulfur is important because plants need it to build key amino acids and proteins that drive real growth, strong structure, and efficient use of nitrogen, making it uniquely different from “look-alike” nutrients that may change leaf color without supporting the plant’s core building process.
Total magnesium is important because magnesium powers chlorophyll and energy use, helping plants stay green, turn light into growth, and use other nutrients efficiently—and it’s unique because its problems often come from nutrient balance and uptake competition, not just a simple shortage.
Magnesium carbonate supplies magnesium for chlorophyll and steady energy production while also gently buffering acidic root zones, which makes it different from faster magnesium sources that mainly deliver quick soluble magnesium without stabilizing pH.
Magnesium phosphate supports chlorophyll-driven energy capture and phosphorus-driven energy movement, helping plants keep steady growth and stronger roots without the sharp swings of faster sources; it’s unique because it supplies both magnesium and phosphorus together in a typically slower-to-available form, so balance and root-zone access matter as much as the amount.
Magnesium sulfate supplies magnesium for chlorophyll and sugar movement plus sulfur for protein building, helping plants stay efficient and green during high-demand growth. It’s unique because it adds magnesium without extra nitrogen or calcium, so it corrects magnesium issues with fewer side effects when balance is the real goal.
Yes, it can if it pushes phosphorus too high or drives pH too low, because both conditions can reduce the plant’s ability to take up key micronutrients and calcium even when they’re present in the feed, which makes phosphoric acid uniquely powerful compared with slower, gentler phosphorus sources.
Potassium phosphate supplies both potassium and phosphorus, supporting root energy, nutrient transport, and flowering readiness when plants are actually limited by those nutrients. It’s unique because it delivers two major nutrients in a fast-available form, so it can correct a real PK bottleneck quickly, but it also requires careful use to avoid salt stress and nutrient imbalance.
Potassium sulfate is often preferred because it supplies potassium without added chloride and also provides sulfur, which supports protein-building and efficient nutrient use, making it a cleaner, balanced option when plants are sensitive to chloride or when you want potassium without pushing extra nitrogen or phosphorus.
