Description

Emerald Harvest Root Wizard is a microbial inoculant and massive root builder for boosting nutrient uptake and building bigger roots in soil or hydroponic gardens. It’s a beneficial bacteria supplement for the root zone, designed to strengthen below-surface performance so plants can take in nutrition more efficiently.

Root Wizard is built around plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria that colonize your garden’s rhizosphere and support a more active, stable root environment. As those rhizobacterial colonies establish, plants can develop bigger roots and longer root hairs for optimal nutrient uptake. The result is a root system with more functional surface area, which supports stronger nutrient absorption and steadier plant performance.

This massive root builder also supports a cleaner root zone by helping keep the growing medium in better condition. Root Wizard supplies beneficial bacteria that increase root mass, convert organic matter into essential elements, and increase nutrient absorption, which can help reduce nutrient waste in the root environment. Emerald Harvest also describes the root system outcome as cleaner for better hygiene in the growing medium, reinforcing the product’s focus on overall root-zone quality, not just short-term growth.

The active inputs are viable bacterial spores, delivered in substantial amounts to support reliable root colonization. Root Wizard contains six strains of beneficial bacteria: Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, Bacillus licheniformis, Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus laevolacticus, Bacillus pasteurii, and Paenibacillus azotofixans. Together, these plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria are selected to support a productive rhizosphere and help plants take up more nutrients through stronger, more functional roots.

Root Wizard is also suitable for foliar application, giving added flexibility for growers who want a root builder that can fit different garden styles without changing the product’s core purpose. It’s a good fit for growers who want vibrant, stable rhizobacterial colonies in the root zone and a practical way to support root vigor and nutrient uptake in soil or hydroponic gardens.

Tips for best results

  • Maintain pH and EC/ppm within the range recommended for your growing medium and crop.
  • Use fresh nutrient solution whenever possible and avoid leaving mixed solution stagnant for long periods.
  • Store nutrients in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Keep bottles tightly sealed when not in use to reduce air exposure and preserve product quality.
  • Use clean measuring tools and regularly rinse or clean your reservoir, lines, and irrigation equipment.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Do not mix different nutrients or additives together in concentrated form before adding them to water.
  • Do not exceed the recommended dosage unless you are following a tested, crop-specific feeding plan.
  • Do not skip pH or EC/ppm checks when growing in hydroponic or soilless systems.
  • Do not allow the nutrient solution to freeze or overheat, as this can damage the formulation.
  • Do not ignore the directions on the product label for your specific crop, growth stage, and system type.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does bacillus amyloliquefaciens do for plants?

Bacillus amyloliquefaciens supports plants by strengthening root growth, improving nutrient availability, and helping maintain a balanced soil environment that naturally protects roots and enhances overall plant health.

What does bacillus licheniformis do for plants?

Bacillus licheniformis breaks down organic material, improves nutrient availability, supports stronger root growth, and helps protect the root zone, leading to healthier and more resilient plants.

What makes bacillus megaterium uniquely valuable for plant growth compared to other soil microbes?

Bacillus megaterium is uniquely valuable because it specializes in unlocking bound phosphorus and converting it into a plant-available form, something most other microbes cannot do as effectively. This direct nutrient-solubilizing ability sets it apart and makes it essential for plants that need consistent phosphorus availability for strong rooting, vigorous growth, and healthy flowering.

Why is bacillus subtilis considered one of the most reliable root-protecting microbes for growers?

Because Bacillus subtilis forms a fast-acting, protective biofilm around plant roots, outcompetes harmful microbes, and enhances nutrient availability. Its unique ability to survive harsh conditions and immediately activate upon reaching the root zone sets it apart from other beneficial microbes.
