Xtreme Gardening MYKOS WP is a wettable powder mycorrhizae product for root growth, nutrient uptake, and water uptake in plant root zones. This beneficial soil fungi product supports stronger root structures by forming a symbiotic relationship with host plant roots, helping plants access moisture and nutrients more efficiently through the growing media.

MYKOS WP is the powder form of MYKOS and contains a single species of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi: Rhizophagus intraradices, formerly known as Glomus intraradices. The formula is focused on endomycorrhizal fungi and does not contain trichoderma or ectomycorrhizae. That single-species profile helps eliminate root competition while keeping the product centered on root expansion, uptake efficiency, and plant performance.

As MYKOS WP grows with the plant, it acts as an extension of the roots. The fungal network creates a sponge-like mass that collects and stores nutrients and water, helping plants improve nutrient and moisture absorption. It also helps break down, cycle, and retain nutrients, while supporting the conversion of organic compounds into plant-available food.

For reservoirs and root drench applications, mix Xtreme Gardening MYKOS WP thoroughly with water and apply around the plant’s root zone. MYKOS WP can be used as a root drench for hand watering or added directly to a reservoir. Keep the reservoir well oxygenated and use the mixture immediately after mixing for best results.

Recommended application rates:.

1 gallon reservoir or root drench: 1 tbsp 5 gallon reservoir or root drench: 3 tbsp 25 gallon reservoir or root drench: 5 tbsp 50 gallon reservoir or root drench: 8 tbsp 100 gallon reservoir or root drench: 1 cup.

Bare Root Dip:
For bare root dip applications, mix 4 tablespoons of Xtreme Gardening MYKOS WP and AZOS per 1 gallon / 3.8 litres of water. Dip the bare roots into the solution before planting to help ensure direct root contact. After planting, water in the remaining solution around the root zone to help support healthy root development and strong plant establishment.
