PRO-MIX® HP® AGTIV REACH® is a high porosity growing medium for growers who want better drainage and root-zone airflow. This soilless growing medium is a peat-based growing medium built for consistent starts and steady growth in containers.

The foundation is fibrous sphagnum peat moss paired with coarse perlite, creating a structure that supports good drainage, high air porosity, and low water retention. A coarse particle size and low bulk density help keep the mix light, open, and responsive across a wide range of container sizes. Calcitic and dolomitic limestone and a wetting agent are included to round out the formula for reliable performance in professional production environments. The overall profile is made for watering flexibility and crop seasonality, especially when conditions change across the year.

In day-to-day growing, PRO-MIX® HP® AGTIV REACH® dries out more frequently than general-purpose peat-based mixes, which can make it more difficult to overwater crops. It is also well suited for low-light and high-humidity growing conditions where heavier mixes can stay too wet. Because it holds less water, it supports improved leaching of fertilizer salts during crop cycles, helping keep the root zone in a more balanced range for ongoing growth.

Biological support is built in through AGTIV REACH® and a beneficial endomycorrhizae inoculant. AGTIV REACH® technology develops the root system, supporting plant root systems while encouraging a larger, more effective rooting area. As roots expand, it enhances nutrient and water uptake, which supports more vigorous and healthy plants with steadier growth momentum. This is a good fit for annuals, foliage plants, and potted flowering plants, plus greenhouse vegetables, vegetable transplants, and young plant propagation when you want a high porosity growing medium that stays airy and drains cleanly.
