Another clue is location. Fungal pressure tends to show up first in places with poor airflow and higher moisture. Lower leaves close to the soil, inner canopy leaves that never see moving air, and areas where water splashes and stays are common starting points. If the issue appears mostly in these microclimates, think moisture and airflow first. Potassium sorbate can reduce growth, but persistent triggers must be corrected.
